RAJOURI, Apr 18: The police today arrested a man at Bakhar, near Balshama village under Dharamsal Police jurisdiction with illicit liquor.
Official sources said that Dharamsal police headed by SHO Amit Singh along with ASI Mohammad Sadiq under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera, Brijesh Sharma during naka at Balshama near bridge recovered 20 litres of illicit liquor from the possession of one Surinder Singh, son of Karan Singh, resident of Tanda, Sunderbani.
The accused was carrying illicit liquor for sale among the people in an illegal manner. A case FIR No. 25/2019 under sections 48 A Excise Act has been registered against him.
