RAJOURI, July 18: Nowshera police arrested a man with 10 litres of liquor and destroyed 180 litres of lahan.
As per police sources, on reliable information, a team headed by SHO Nowshera Amit Singh under the supervision of Sub Divisional Police Officer (SDPO) Nowshera Zakir Shaheen Mirza and SSP Rajouri Chandan Kohli raided a location in Nonial village.
A man identified as Khem Raj son of Perma Nand resident of Nonial was found distilling illicit liquor.
The accused person was arrested on the spot and a ten litres of liquor was seized from his possession whereas 180 litres of lahan (raw material) was destroyed on the spot.
A case under FIR Number 144/2020 under Section 48-A, B and E have been registered at Nowshera Police Station and investigation started.
