JAMMU, Mar 28: A man was injured in an assault case here in Bakshi Nagar area, late last night.
According to a police spokesman, over some minor issue a motorcyclist identified as Vishan Sudan of Bakshi Nagar was intercepted by a miscreant namely Parveen Kumar alias Kaka son of Rattan Sharma of Qasim Nagar, and attacked with lathies, late last night.
“In the attack, Vishal received minor injuries. He was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where after treatment he was discharged”, the spokesman further said, adding a case FIR No 53/16 under Section 341/323 RPC was registered at police station Bakshi Nagar and investigations were underway.
