JAMMU, Nov 19: A man was injured today after hit by a train at Channi crossing in city outskirts.
“The injured was identified as Arjun Singh (35) son of Rajinder Singh, a resident of Vikas Nagar (Patoli Mangotrian, Jammu)”, a GRP spokesman said, adding, it was not clear immediately whether it was an accident or an abortive attempt by the man on his life.
He said that the man with severe head injuries was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for treatment. “A case has been registered in this connection at police station GRP Jammu and investigations started”, he added.
