Srinagar, July 31: Amidst growing man-animal conflict, an elderly person was injured after he was attacked by a bear in Bandipora district of north Kashmir, police said here.
A police spokesman said the bear attacked and injure 60 year old Mohammad Sultan Mir of Malangam village of Aloosa in the district. He was attacked in the same village.
“The injured is being treated in the District Hospital Bandipora,” the spokesman said.
