RAJOURI, Aug 30: A villager was injured when he was attacked by a bear in forest area of Peeri in Koranka area of Rajouri today.
A police spokesman said that victim identified as Gulzar Hussain, son of Raj Wali, resident of Peeri had gone to the forest area, when a full grown bear suddenly attacked him. He fought for his survival with the wild beast but was rendered seriously injured. He was later rushed to Rajouri hospital from Peeri Health Centre by the family members.
