RAJOURI, May 23: A villager was seriously injured in attack by a full grown bear at a Dhok in Neel area of Pir Panjal range today.
The victim has been identified as Mohd Hafiz, son of Mohd Ayub, resident of Bhai Nambla in Kandi area of district Rajouri. He had gone to his ‘dhok’ in the higher ranges of Pir Panjal along with his cattle. A full grown bear attacked him leaving him seriously injured. His relatives later shifted him to Rajouri hospital. He received 23 stitches on the body and his condition was said to be serious.
