JAMMU, Apr 9: A 30-year-old man, who suffered injuries in an accident on the Jammu-Srinagar Highway at Nagrota area on April 8, died today, police said.
SHO Nagrota, Vishav Partap Singh said that Sunny (30) son of Sohan Lal of House Number 360, Peer Kho, Jammu, was injured after he was hit by an unknown vehicle near Rajan Bar on the Jammu-Udhampur stretch of the highway, at around 9:45 yesterday.
“He was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries at around 3:35 am today,” the police officer said.
He said a case FIR number 132/2023 under relevant sections of the law has been registered at Police Station Nagrota and further investigation taken up.
