JAMMU, July 4: A man today received serious injuries at his residence in RS Pura sector due to LPG cylinder blast.
According to a police spokesperson, the victim has been identified as Joginder Pal (45) son of Thoru Ram, a resident of Badyal Qazian in RS Pura sector. The mishap occurred this morning due to leakage of gas from the cylinder while the victim was cooking food. In the mishap, the victim received about 50-60% burn injuries.
He was rushed to a nearby hospital in RS Pura from where later he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where his condition is stated to be stable till the last reports came in.
A case in this regard has been registered at police station RS Pura and further investigation started.
