Man involved in shootout case arrested from Ropar

JAMMU, Nov 20: Miran Sahib police arrested a man, who was involved in an attempt to murder case.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Miran Sahib Police Station apprehended a man, who was involved in a shootout case from Ropar Punjab. In the shootout, the accused injured two persons including his real brother and nephew on November 12.
The arrested person has been identified as Paramjeet Singh, son of Balwant Singh of Karan Bagh, Upper Gadigarh.
A case under FIR Number 160/17 under Section 307 RPC and 3/25 Arms Act stands registered against him at Miran Sahib Police Station.
Police team led by SHO Miran Sahib Inspector Ajit Singh and assisted by Incharge Kulian Border Police Post ASI Yougal Sharma made the arrest under the supervision of SDPO RS Pura Surinder Choudhary, SP Headquarters Jammu RC Kotwal and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
