JAMMU, Sept 19: A 38-year old patient died after he jumped from Government Medical College Jammu building, police said.

“Makkhan Lal of Bajalta was admitted to the hospital with severe anaemia on September 16. He jumped off the fifth floor of the hospital building around 10 Pm,” they said. The deceased was a permanent employee of the Jal Shakti Department, said police.
The body of the deceased has been shifted to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem while as inquest proceedings have been initiated to further probe the matter.
