Srinagar, Nov 22: Police today said one person was killed while three others were injured in separate road mishaps.
A police spokesman said a Santro bearing registration number JK05B-4081 hit a Scooty bearing registration number JK05D-5063 at Nowpora near Gulzar Memorial in Sopore area of Baramulla district, resulting in on spot death of the Scooty rider namely Hanan Ahmad Dar and injuries to two other persons identified as Bilal Ahmad Ganaie and Shazia Bano . “The body of deceased was handed over to his relative and injured were shifted to the Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment,” he said.
The police spokesman said a Truck bearing registration number JK03-0787 hit a Scooty bearing registration number JK3E-3135 on KP Road near Mulsoo in Mattan area of Anantnag district, resulting in injuries to the Scooty rider identified as Jasbeer Sing. “The injured was shifted to Sub District Hospital Seer for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
