Srinagar, Mar 11: Police today said a person was killed while another was injured in two separate road accidents.
A police spokesman said a vehicle bearing registration number PB-08 AY0050 hit and injured a person identified as Reyaz Ahmad Lone near Railway Crossing in Nowgam area on the city outskirts. “The injured was shifted to SKIMS Soura for treatment where he succumbed to his injuries. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he said.
The spokesman said a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK05-5202 and a Figo car bearing registration number JK15-3801 collided near Botingoo Crossing in Sopore area of Baramulla district, resulting in injuries to Figo car driver namely Showkat Ahmad Dar.
“The injured has been shifted to Sub District Hospital Sopore for treatment. Police have registered a case in this regard,” he added.
