SRINAGAR, Nov 6: Police today said a man was killed while another was injured in two different road accidents in Kupwara and Kulgam districts.
A police spokesman said a tipper bearing registration number JK05/9268 met with an accident at Chontiwari village of Machil in Kupwara, resulting in injuries to its driver. The injured was shifted to the hospital for treatment, he said, adding that police have registered a case in this regard.
The spokesman said that an unknown vehicle hit a motorcycle bearing registration number JK03/8910 at Frisal area of Kulgam district, resulting in on spot death of the motorcyclist identified as Abdul Gani Itoo. Police have registered a case in this regard.
