JAMMU, Sept 3: A man was killed today in the collision of a bike and a car in Miran Sahib area of city outskirts.
“Jagjeet Singh (50) son of Sardar Singh, resident of Kullian (Miran Sahib), received serious injuries this evening when a bike bearing registration number JK02BA-9932 he was riding, was hit by a speeding Wagon-R car (registration number JK02BT-5990) at Kullian”, a police official said.
He said that the injured bike rider was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors. “The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary of the hospital while a case in this connection has been registered at police station Miran Sahib and investigations started”, he added.
