JAMMU, Dec 17: A man was killed tonight in a hit and run case in Narwal area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, a pedestrian identified as Girdhari Lal (42), son of Jalla Ram, resident of Kallah (Khour), was hit and left seriously injured today at about 8 pm by an unknown vehicle at Narwal.
He said that the blood-ridden man was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors.
“The body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for postmortem while a case in this connection was registered at concerned police station and investigations started”, he added.
