JAMMU, Apr 30: One person was killed in a land dispute in Greater Kailash locality here today, police said.
They said one Balbir Singh son of Sardar Singh of Kaluchak, who had a land dispute with one Reva Sharma and others, was attacked with a brick around 6 pm today by the party of the latter when the former tried to take possession of a land he claimed to have purchased.
With a head injury, Balbir Singh was admitted to Government Medical College Jammu, where he succumbed to his injuries.
Police have shifted the body of the deceased to the mortuary of the hospital and registered a case under the relevant sections of the law besides taking up further investigation into the matter.
