JAMMU, Apr 8: A 32-year-old man died in a road accident here at Rehari area of the District today, police said.
They said Pankaj Sodhi son of Mohinderpal of Pandoka Paloura was on way towards Bus Stand on his bike when he was hit by a bus (JK02CS-9957) coming from Udhampur side at around 6 PM today, resulting in injuries to the biker.
He was taken to Government Medical College Jammu where doctors declared him as dead on arrival.
Police have shifted the body of the deceased to the mortuary of the hospital for conducting the post-mortem.
Meanwhile, a case under relevant sections of the law has been registered at concerned police station and further investigation taken up.
