JAMMU, Dec 25: A man was killed today in a road mishap in Akhnoor area of city outskirts.
According to a police official, the man identified as Bishan Lal (45) son of Tez Ram, resident of Sunderbani, received serious injuries when a bike on which he was travelling, was hit by an unknown vehicle at Sohal.
He said the injured man was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he was declared as brought dead by the doctors. “The body of the deceased has been shifted to mortuary room of the hospital for postmortem while Akhnoor police has registered a case in this connection and started investigation,” he added.
