DODA, July 14: A man was killed while two others sustained injuries after a Tata Sumo rolled down into gorge near Domail area of Kahara here.
As per police sources, a Tata Sumo bearing registration number JK06-5447 rolled down into gorge near Domail area of Kahara, resulting into injuries to three persons.
On getting information, police team rushed to the spot and started rescue operation with the help of locals. All the injured persons were rushed to Trauma Hospital Thathri from where they were later referred to Government Medical College and Associated Hospital Doda. One of the seriously injured persons breathed his last while being shifting to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu.
The deceased was identified as Mohd Shafi, son of Noor Mahi, a resident of Paykul, while the injured were identified as Kuldeep Kumar, son of Jameet Rama, a resident of Bonjwah and Amresh, son of Maheshwar, a resident of Goila Kahara District Doda.
A case under relevant sections has been registered at Police Station Gandoh and investigation started.
