RAJOURI, Nov 11: One person was killed after he was hit by a car at DC Crossing in Gujjar Mandi area of Rajouri town here today.
The deceased has been identified as 52-years-old Parmod Jasyal, son of Jia Lal, resident of Gujjar Mandi, Rajouri. The mishap took place when Parmod had gone to the market and was moving along the road.
An Alto car No. UK07/0458 driven by unknown person, coming from Kheora side hit the pedestrian from the back, causing him serious head injuries. He was rushed to hospital where doctors declared him as brought dead. The police registered a case and started investigation.
