JAMMU, Mar 13: A man today made an abortive attempt on his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence in Bawe-da-Talab area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, the man identified as Bachchan Lal (30) son of late Beli Ram, a resident of Bawe-da-Talab in Kanachak area allegedly tried to end his life by consuming some poisonous substance at his residence following which family members rushed him to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), Jammu for treatment.
The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
