JAMMU, Dec 15: A 34-year-old man allegedly made an abortive attempt on his life by hanging self at his residence in RS Pura area.
A police official said that Raj Kumar (34) son of Tarsem Singh of RS Pura tried to end his life by hanging himself at his residence.
However, the family members timely noticed the incident and immediately shifted him to Government Medical College and Hospital Jammu, where he is undergoing treatment.
Police in RS Pura have initiated inquest proceedings to ascertain the reasons as to why the individual made an abortive attempt on his life.
