JAMMU, Nov 14: A man died after being mauled by a bear in tehsil Mahore, district Reasi.
As per reports, 32-year-old Mohammad Aslam, a resident of Mahore in district Reasi went to nearby forest area where he was mauled by a bear.
After hearing his cries, locals rushed to the spot, rescued him from the clutches of bear and shifted the victim to District Hospital Reasi.
After preliminary treatment at DH Reasi, he was referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), where he failed to respond to the treatment and breathed his last.
After completing legal formalities, the body was handed over to family members for last rites.
