POONCH, Aug 18: A man was mauled by wild bear and left critically injured at village Brachor in Sabzian, here this morning.
The victim, identified as Abdul Gani, son of Asad Ayub of Brachor, has been rushed to Government Medical College Hospital in view of his serious condition.
The incident took place early this morning when Abdul Gani had gone to fields and the wild bear attacked him from back side. Bleeding profusely, the victim was shifted to local hospital where doctors referred him to GMC Hospital Jammu.
Following the incident, a panic has gripped the entire village while the Wildlife Department has been informed of the incident for capturing the wild bear.
