DODA, May 31: A man was murdered while his brother received serious injuries in murderous assault by their neighbour in Dharma Bibrota area of Tehsil Rajgarh.
As per police sources, a man identified as Parshotam Singh, son of Paras Ram of Dharma Bibrota area attacked and murdered his neighbour namely Gurdass, son of Ram Chand Sharma of Dharma Bibrota with sharp edged weapon over some minor issue and also injured his brother Jeevan Lal Sharma.
The critically injured person was immediately rushed to District Hospital Ramban and later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for specialised treatment.
After conducting post-mortem, the body of the deceased was handed over to legal heirs for last rites.
On the complaint of deceased brother namely Kishore Dass, a case under FIR Number 92/2021 under Sections 302, 307 and 323 IPC has been registered at Police Station Doda and hunt has been launched to nab the murderer.
