Man murdered for Rs 80!

JAMMU, Aug 24: A middle aged man was murdered for Rs 80 by his colleague with a scissor inside his rented room at Nai Basti under the jurisdiction of Gandhi Nagar police station last midnight. Police have arrested the accused.
Reports said a tailor master Sukhwinder Singh of Punjab and Nanak Singh of Dablehar, RS Pura were working together in Nai Basti. Both of them used to consume heavy liquor in the night daily.
Nanak Singh had been seeking return of Rs 80, which he had paid to Sukhwinder Singh sometime back. However, Sukhwinder hadn’t returned the money.
Last midnight when Sukhwinder went asleep, Nanak Singh hit his neck with a scissor and fled away. During the bleeding in the entire night, Sukhwinder breathed his last.
The incident was noticed this morning.
Police parties led by SHO Gandhi Nagar Inspector Gurmeet Singh under the supervision of SP City (South) Rajeshwar Singh and SDPO Mukesh Kakkar reached the spot and shifted the body to the Medical College, Jammu for post-mortem.
After raids, police arrested the accused Nanak Singh of Dablehar, who has confessed the crime. The scissor used for murder has been seized. A murder case has been registered against the accused at Gandhi Nagar police station.
