Man against nature

Sir,
It has been now observed that nature has turned furious for the last several  years. Stormy floods have made havoc in many states of the country. Heavy losses have taken place. Pollution has increased and animal kingdom stand threatened. Man versus wild animal fight has increased. The duo fight has reached down in the streets of our villages.
Our morning cukoo has stopped his melodious voice and chirpping  of sparrows is not now heard. There is drought in some parts of the country and in other parts crops are destroyed due to scanty rainfall. Green grass meadows have turned into barren lands and our cattle wealth is terribly suffering. The river buds stand encroached.
Water bodies are facing danger and natural water reservoirs have vanished. The  wild animal species are declining and our eco-system is disturbed. Day temperature has increased and threat of tsunami is there. Forests have been encroached and felling of  trees has become non stop exercise. Establishment of colonies on agriculture lands is a common phenomenon. And increased trends of urbanisation has multiplied problems for the people.
The need of the hour is to preserve nature in all dimensions otherwise,  if we go against it then we must be ready to face repercussions of it as we have started facing now.
Yours etc….
S N Raina
