JAMMU, July 19: City Police arrested a man running Drugs Rehabilitation Centre with weapon here today.
As per police sources, during checking a team from City Police Station intercepted a person, who was moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police team recovered a country made pistol from the possession of the person and arrested him.
The arrested person was identified as Akshay Kumar, son of Rajesh Kumar, a resident of Raghunath Pura District Jammu.
The accused was running a Drugs Rehabilitation Centre at Gharota in the name of Ayodhya Foundation.
A case FIR Number 38/2022 under section 3/25 Arms Act has been registered at Police Station City and investigation started.
Police team made the arrest under the supervision of SHO City Inspector Rakesh Sharma, SDPO City Sharad Kalu and SP City Kulbir Handa.
