RAJOURI, Apr 20: A local court at Nowshera has sentenced one person to community service, for creating nuisance at public place under the influence of liquor.
An official spokesman said that Arun Veer Sayal, son of Parsohtam Lal, resident of Dabber, Tehsil Nowshera in district Rajouri has been accused of creating a public nuisance under the influence of liquor, and sentenced to community service, under the provisions of the Bharatiya Nyay Sanhita (BNS) by the Sub-Judge, JMIC Nowshera
In the first case of district Rajouri, Arun Veer was found creating a public disturbance while intoxicated in the market area of Nowshera town under the Jurisdiction of Nowshera Police Station. The accused was taken into custody by a police team led by SHO Inspector Arjun Magotra under the supervision of SDPO Nowshera, Dysp Sahil Mahajan and was presented before the Sub-Judge JMIC Nowshera.
The accused was directed to perform community service to assist the employee of Municipality for cleaning the establishment of SDH Nowshera for 7 days under Section 355 of the BNS.
