KISHTWAR, July 6: A man shot at his wife with rifle in Khanpora area of Dool, here today.
As per police sources, a man identified as Arif Hussain, son of Akhter Hussain of Khanpora dool fired upon on his wife namely Rubina Begum with 12 bore rifle of his father during some family issue.
The victim was rushed to District Hospital Kishtwar from where she was later referred to Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) Jammu for advanced treatment.
The accused has been arrested.
A case under sections 307 IPC and 3/27 Arms Act has been registered at Kishtwar Police Station and investigation started.
