REASI, Feb 6: One person was stabbed to death at the holy township of Katra today.
The deceased has been identified as Mohd Latief, son of Noor Din , resident of Harote Kote in Reasi district. Police said two persons namely Sunil Singh, son of Swarn Singh, resident of Thakrakote in district Reasi and Mohd Latief of Harotekote in Bhomag area of Reasi were working in local hotel at Katra as guides. Both started quarreling with each other over a petty issue. During fight Sunil Singh attacked with knife on Latief. He sustained serious injuries and was rushed to local hospital but he succumbed to injuries.

The accused Sunil Singh fled the spot. The police has registered a case FIR No.22/2021 u/s 302, 4/25 Arms Act at Police Station Katra against the accused.
