JAMMU, Nov 16: A man today succumbed to the injuries received in an assault case, here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to Inspector Rattan Singh, SHO, police station Domana, the deceased identified as Gulser Mohd (50) son of Noor Mohd, resident of Man Talai, Chenani (at present Patnehal in Domana area of city outskirts) was a servant in the house of Subhash son of Sansar Chand at Patnehal.
He said on November 5, Gulser had an altercation with Subhash on some issue and in a fit of rage the latter thrashed the former badly following which he was shifted to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where he expired today at about 11.50 AM.
The officer said that they have arrested the accused and registered a case against him under Section 302.
