JAMMU, Nov 10: A man today succumbed to his burn injuries here at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH) while another man was injured in stove blast in Gole Gujral area of city outskirts.
According to a police spokesman, a man identified as Rajinder (35) son of Ashraffi, resident of Lucknow, at present residing in Peer Mitha area of Jammu, was shifted here at GMCH on October 31 after he suffered about 60% burn injuries at his residence due to unknown reasons.
However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 3 am. After completing all medico-legal formalities, the body of the deceased was handed over to his legal heirs for last rites.
Meanwhile, a man identified as Manjeet Singh (33) son of Daljeet Singh, resident of Gole Gujral, got injured in stove blast at his residence. He was shifted to GMCH Jammu for treatment. The concerned police had taken cognizance of the matter.
