JAMMU, Apr 11: A man succumbed to his burn injuries at Government Medical College and Hospital (GMCH), while another sustained burn injuries in a cylinder blast incident.
As per reports, Suraj, son of Khem Raj of Gujjar Nagar was admitted in GMC Hospital on April 5, after he received burn injuries due to stove burst.
He failed to respond to the treatment and succumbed to his burn injuries today.
The body was handed over to family members after completion of legal formalities, while a case stands registered in this regards at concerned police station.
In another incident, Gurbaksh Singh of Punjab received severe burn injuries in a cylinder blast incident at Sanjay Nagar, here today.
He was shifted to GMC Hospital, where he was undergoing treatment, when last reports came in.
Police has taken the cognizance.
