JAMMU, Jan 23: A man today succumbed to his injuries suffered in an assault case, here at Government Medical College and Hospital.
According to a police spokesperson, the man identified as Mohd Ashraf (30) son of Mohd Abbass, a resident of Chadak (Poonch), was undergoing treatment for his injuries, which he had suffered in an assault case on him on August 28, 2015.
“However, the man succumbed to his injuries today at about 6.40 pm”, he said adding the body of the deceased was shifted to mortuary room of Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu.
The concerned police have taken cognizance of the matter.
