JAMMU, Apr 29: Two -day Management-cum-Technical Fest ‘EKATRA-19’, being organized by Yogananda College of Engineering & Technology (YCET) and Institute of Management Sciences (IMS), under the aegis of Jamwal Group of Educational Institutions (JGEI), began today in the college campus at Gurha Brahmana (Patoli), Jammu.
The Fest is a regular feature of the Institutions of Jamwal Group. A number of institutions from Jammu are taking part in the fest and there are array of events like Technical and Management events, fun events, cultural events including events like Lan Gaming, Perception Based Test, Rangoli Making, Food Panda, Selfie, Fun Cricket etc . With the participation of students from other institutions, it has become a mega event.
Er Vidhi S Singh Jamwal ,Chairman JGEI, was the chief guest while Vinod Kumar, Director Gulistan Channel, was the guest of honor for the inaugural function.
Prof J R Dhotra presented a formal welcome address and said that the Management cum Technical Fest is a vibrant platform where students showcase their skills and talent which are important for refreshment and rejuvenation of the students and faculty. The students also presented colorful thematic and stage performances.
In the inauguration session. Thakur Shiv Dev Singh Jamwal, Vice Chairman, Jamwal Group, Er Renu Bangroo, Managing Director, JGEI, Directors from IMS, YCET and other Institutions were also present on the occasion. The vote of thanks was presented by Dr S K Gupta, Dean Academics, Institute of Management Sciences.
Renowned Punjabi Sufi singer “Nooran Sisters” performed in the evening on the first day of the tech fest and enthralled and mesmerized the audience with their melodious voice which was enjoyed by one and all.
