JAMMU, Aug 27: Mandeep Kaur, Commissioner, Jammu Municipal Corporation today took a detailed review of functioning of the Corporation.
At the very outset of the meeting, the Commissioner had a detailed report of the ongoing developments works within the areas of JMC and instructed the Engineering Wing to expedite the Civil & Electric Works and complete within the stipulated time. She was apprised of the problems of the SKCs and on this the Health Officer was given instructions to organize the health camps for the medical checkup of the Safaikaramc-haries and also put up the proposal of their welfare and development under various State & Central schemes in communication with their unions.
The Commissioner also decided to start ward-wise inspection from the coming week (the schedule of which will be informed to them in advance) and requests the prominent citizens of each ward to come forward with their issues and problems during ward visit, so that, these are resolved with their active participation.
Thereafter, Commissioner conducted a comprehensive tour of all its divisions and offices and gave strict instructions for launch of Sanitation Campaign within the JMC office complex and auction of all scrap lying at different places.

Commissioner (Rev), Joint Commissioner (W), S.E (UEED), Chief Transport Officer, Chief Accounts Officer, Health Officer, Municipal Veterinary Officer, Sr. Town Planner, Chief Enforcement Officer, Enforcement Officer, Executive Engineers, Law Officer, Naib Tehsildar(R), Naib Tehsildar(E), Deputy Director (P) & Asst. Secretary of the JMC.
