JAMMU, Apr 5: Sri Mangleshwar Bairva Jayanti was celebrated today at Geeta Bhawan Muthi near here with fervor and gaiety. In an impressive function held under the aegis of Shri Mangleshwar Asthapan Prabandak Committee (SMAPC), a large gathering of residents of Sirnoo, Monghama Pulwama cherished their participation in the day long programme.
Noted singer Munoo Ji Mastana played his special numbers on the occasion. Pt Amar Nath Raina ( a staunch religious follower) offered his services or guidance for upholding daily rituals to any community member if he / she finds any difficulty at any time in its comprehension .
Sunil Bhat general secretary SMAPC opined that youngsters be involved in all the religious or rituals on a gradual note. He implored the need of reaching out to these young minds with attractive ritualistic packages and maintained that localised Temple Committees can easily offer this. A resolve was made by SMAPC to work out a plan for this purpose during the ensuing Deepawali festival.
President SMAPC Bhaskar Nath Bhat appealed for maintaining a common bond and also urged for keeping the traditions alive.
Moti Lal Raina and Ashok Razdan also spoke on the occasion.
