JAMMU Sept 5: Member Parliament, Rajya Sabha, Shamsher Singh Manhas today inaugurated a transformer of 250 KVA near Government Higher Secondary School, Paloura. Accompanied by Executive Engineer, Sanjay Sharma along with concerned authorities he released Rs. 7.82 lac out of his MPLAD Fund for this work.
While addressing the gathering, Manhas said that it was the long pending demand of the inhabitants of the area. Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) is taking keen interest to mitigate the problems of the public, he added.
Electricity is the basic need of the public and it is priority of the Centre Government to provide regular and proper voltage to the public specially in Summer peak season.
He also said that the Centre Government has already taken a lot of initiative to electrify the maximum villages which are un-electrified across the country. The Government has completed its four years under the stewardship of Prime Minister, Narendra Modi & the Central Government is working hard to uplift the people of the country and it is working with the motto “Saaf Niyat Sahi Vikas”.
On the behalf of the public, Ex- Sarpanch, Balbir Singh Manhas complimented MP for the fulfilment of their long pending demands. On the occasion, BJP leaders Ashok Singh Chib, Joginder Singh, Bahadur Singh, Uttam Singh, Kuldeep & others were also present.
