Manhas terms demonetization, surgical strikes as bold decisions

KATHUA, May 27: Senior BJP leader and MP (RS) Shamsher Singh Manhas rejected the false and malicious propaganda of opposition parties against the BJP Government led by Prime Minister Narendra Modi and said that the performance of three years Modi rule is far better than over 60 years of Congress rule.
Addressing a mammoth public rally here today in connection with completion of three year’s of NDA Government at Centre, Manhas said that the schemes and welfare projects launched by Modi Government are aimed at changing the fate of poor and weaker sections of the society and bring cheers on their faces.
He said this Government is dedicated to the poor and downtrodden people of the country and it is committed to bring them at par with other sections of the society which is imperative for building a new India of our dreams.
He, while highlighting the various schemes and welfare projects launched by the Modi Government at Centre said Jandhan Yojna, Atal Pension Yojna, Beti Bachao Beti Padao, Ujwala Scheme etc are all revolutionary schemes which will surely change the fate of the poor masses of this country.
Manhas said under Ujwala scheme 1.50 crore gas connections have been distributed among the poor people of the country so far and Government plans to distribute five core gas connections under this scheme which has never happened in past 60 years and poor people could have never dreamt of having a cooking gas in their kitchen which the Modi Government made possible for them.
He said in addition to it the Central Government has earmarked Rs 2000 crore additional for those families which though fall under BPL but have not been included in the lists so far.
Highlighting the other achievements of the Government Manhas said the demonetization decision was a historic and bold step of PM to break the back of black money hoarders. Besides the surgical strikes on Pakistan and Burma were other bold decisions of this Government to give a warning to the detractors of the nation that India will not tolerate any misadventures in future.
He said  many developmental projects have been started in J&K during last three years of Modi rule while many more are in pipeline and after their completion the State will  enter into a new phase of development. He said Delhi -Katra corridor via holy town of Amritsar which has already been sanctioned will reduce the distance of travel to five hours, the construction of Keriyan Gandayl bridge over river Ravi, Nasri tunnel, hiking the compensation for border firing victims and doubling the honorarium of SPOs and VDCs are other achievements of the Modi Government.
Addressing the rally MLA Kathua, Rajiv Jasrotia asked people not to ear the false propaganda of the opposition as the BJP is committed to restore the pristine glory of the country and make it Vishaw Guru. He also highlighted the three years achievements of Modi Government and two years achievements of BJP-PDP coalition in the State.
Party general secretary (Org) Ashok Kaul asked to strengthen the BJP as Party is committed to weed out corruption, terrorism and bring peace and prosperity to the State.
He also highlighted the achievements of three years BJP rule at Centre while district president of the Party Prem Nath Dogra lambasted the Congress and other opposition parties for misleading the people with their false propaganda.
He said except corruption and dynastic rule these parties gave nation nothing.
