VIJAYPUR, Mar 31: Apni Party Provincial president Jammu and former Minister, S. Manjit Singh here today paid rich tribute to martyr Vipan Kumar at his village Radwan in Ramgarh.
Manjit Singh was accompanied by Sahil Bharti, District president Legal Cell, Samba; Bachan Choudhary, block president Ramgarh; Mangat Ram, District Youth president Samba and other prominent people of the area.
Addressing the gathering after offering floral tribute to the martyr of Operation Parakram, 2002, the former Minister remembered the young soldier for his supreme sacrifice.
He said that the martyred soldier was a brave-heart whose sacrifice will not go waste.
The Apni Party leader said that the Government should organize programmes to remember the martyrs and include their contributions in school curriculum.
He said that future generations must remember the soldiers who laid their lives for the nation and its security.
