UDHAMPUR, May 25: Chief Patron of Dogra Kranti Dal (DKD) and former MLA, Balwant Singh Mankotia today distributed 20 PPE kits among doctors and paramedical staff at District Hospital Udhampur.
A handout stated that 25 PPE kits were already distributed by Mankotia to doctors and paramedical staff at District Hospital Udhampur a month back.
Talking to reporters Mankotia said that doctors and paramedical staff are serving in the hospital for 24*7 and their health concern is on higher priority.
He informed that DKD has distributed over 6000 packed food packets among patients and their attendants at District Hospital Udhampur and this distribution was started on March 31 and is still going on.
Mankotia said that apart from this DKD has installed three Sanitisation Tunnels in Udhampur District Hospital, Devika Ghat and Police Station, introduced helpline number for stranded persons outside J&K, felicitated frontline workers and distributed masks, sanitizers, gloves among them.
He further said that DKD is doing every possible effort to ease sufferings of the needy people.
Doctor’s Association President, Balwinder Singh, Sanjeev Sharma, Tarun, Mohinder Singh and others were also present on occasion.
