UDHAMPUR, Dec 19: Viksit Bharat Sankalp Yatra, led by BJP leader and former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia, reached at Sarar Panchayat of Chennai assembly constituency of Udhampur district.
A huge crowd of local people gathered and gave rousing welcome to the Yatra with flowers and drums. On the occasion, a pledge was taken to make India fully developed nation by 2047.
While addressing the gathering, Mankotia made the locals aware about the schemes of the Central Government such as Ayushman Bharat, Pradhan Mantri Awas Yojana, Koushal Vikas Yojana etc. He also listened to the problems of locals and solved them on the spot.
Mankotia said that we have to make our country fully developed by the 100th year of independence i.e. by 2047 and in this regard everyone has taken a pledge.
On this occasion, DDC Pinky Devi, Sarpanch Sudesh Singh, Sarpanch Balwan Singh, Sarpanch Surinder Singh and others also expressed their views.
