JAMMU, Apr 10: On their return to Jammu after joining Aam Aadmi Party (AAP) at New Delhi, Balwant Singh Mankotia, Yash Pal Kundal, Taranjeet Singh Tony and others were accorded a warm welcome by their supporters, here today.
Amid raising of slogans and patriotic songs, these leaders were taken in the form of an impressive procession from Jammu Airport to AAP office at Gandhi Nagar.
Hundreds of supporters of Mankotia, Kundal, Tony, Surinder Singh Shinghari and others assembled outside the Jammu Airport Exit Gate to receive their leaders who were profusely garlanded amid chanting of slogans.

These leaders were accompanied by AAP observer Pardeep Mittal and Co-observer Manish Sinha from Delhi. Scores of AAP volunteers and supporters greeted them on way from Jammu Airport to AAP Regional office at Gandhi Nagar.
Pertinent to mention that former Minister and two-time MLA from Samba, Yash Pal Kundal; former President of JKNPP and two-time MLA from Udhampur, Balwant Singh Mankotia, sitting DDC Members from Suchetgarh, Taranjeet Singh Tony, former bureaucrat B A Runyal, former Congress leader Surinder Singh Shinghari, Ex banker and social activist Parvinder Singh Happy, Youth wing President of Dogra Sadar Sabha, Gambhir Dev Singh Charak and scores of other prominent persons had joined AAP at New Delhi on April 8.
The Jammu based Core Committee members, AAP office bearers and hundreds of supporters welcomed Mankotia, Kundal, Tony, Shinghari, Charak, Happy and others at the party office.
Later talking to media persons at the AAP office, Mr Mankotia predicted miracle in Jammu and Kashmir where Assembly elections are likely to be held soon. He also informed about his meeting with AAP supremo Arvind Kejriwal and said that they discussed public as well as organizational issues to strengthen the party in J&K.
“We will concentrate on strengthening the party at grass root level in J&K and leave no stone unturned to highlight the issues of general masses for redressal of the same,” he said.
