UDHAMPUR, Apr 16: Chief Patron Dogra Kranti Dal & former MLA Balwant Singh Mankotia today provided free service of van as ambulance in District Udhampur.
Mankotia informed that Dogra Kranti Dal has provided the van as ambulance for the people who have to suffer due to the unavailability of transport during the lockdown.
He further said that the Hospital Administration do not have the facility of sufficient number of ambulances for the transport of the patients during corona crisis, adding to overcome the suffering of people during the lockdown, Dogra Kranti Dal has provided their van for serving as an ambulance without any fare to meet the needs of the people from villages.
He informed that few days back Dogra Kranti Dal had donated Sanitization Tunnel at District Hospital Udhampur. DKD’s volunteer Ajay Singh was appointed as the driver for the ambulance, he said, adding that the van service will continue till the situation comes under control.
Councillors Sunil Proach, Darshan Kumar, Ajay Singh, Achhat Magotra, Tarun and Sunny were also present.
