“People of Jammu region are struggling for induction of Dogri language at school and college level so that students can learn their mother tongue but the Coalition Government is forcefully trying to impose Kashmiri language on colleges here,” Mankotia said and alleged that ruling BJP has become mute spectator of State Government’s Kash-mir centric and anti-Jammu policies for the sake of power.
Mankotia dema-nded that posts for Dogri language at School and college level should be sanctioned in Jammu region so that students can learn the language and those who have completed their masters degree in this language could get employment.
He warned that the State Government’s move of teaching Kashmir in Jammu colleges would be strongly opposed and people of this region would not tolerate injustice with Dogri language.
