Manmohan assures to redress grievances of border people

JAMMU, Mar 27: The Jat Biradari of Tehsil Hiranagar, district Kathua, organised a well attended function at Dayalachak to honour Ch Manmohan Singh, president AlJMS for having been made Vice Chairman of State Medical Supply Corporation.
Overwhelmed with the decision of the Chief Minister Mehbooba Mufti, people danced on the tune of bands and sang Dogri and folk Songs.
People while deliberating in the function remembered and counted various services of Ch Manmohan Singh which he rendered to the people in tough times like cross border firing along international border and LoC in the State, taking up the matter of refugees of 1947, 1965 and 1971 with State leaders and authorities.
As Mayor of Jammu, Ch Manmohan Singh served the people of Jammu by introducing efficient changes in system which made lives of residents very easy.
Working for all and along with other communities, he held the helm of Jat Mahasabha and did the task of uniting the Jat community in J&K for their benefit. His work and dedication is not limited to benefit his own community only but other communities also admire his leadership. He extended support to all the border communities at the time of border disturbances and brought all of them together.
Ch Manmohan Singh played the key role in settling the cronic matter of displaced persons of 1947, 1965 & 1971 wars.
Senior members accompanying him were Chandu Singh, Dy SP Dewan Singh, S Parmjit Singh, Sham Lal, Dev Raj, Capt Darshan Lal, Ch Rasal Singh, Ch Joginder Singh, Subash Singh, Jeet Raj, S Manjeet Singh, Hardev Singh, Ch Sethi and many others.
