Manmohan seeks support of women for OBC status to Jats

KATHUA, Dec 22: Seeking support of the entire Jat Biradari especially womenfolk in getting OBC status, Ch Manmohan Singh president All India Jat Maha Sabha (AIJMS) today said that until all the members of community will not become united the goals are difficult to achieve.
Addressing a meeting of the Sabha at Dyala Chak area in district Kathua, Ch Manmohan Singh said that women of the community can contribute significantly in achieving the targets of the AIJMS because the patience which they have is seamless and this virtue is the prerequisite for achieving success in any struggle or battle. He said that united we stand and divided we fall should be remembered all the times as the fight for getting OBC status is a long one and needs persistent support of community people to achieve the objective.
Chairing the meeting, he sought support of the entire Jat community to realize the dream of making the community well-off and educated. He said that people should contribute to provide education to the children who are less fortunate but have the zeal and zest to study and become successful in life.
