JAMMU, June 20: The book “Kathasatisagar” written by Vice Chancellor of Vishwakarma Skill University Raj Nehru, was launched by Chief Minister of Haryana, Manohar Lal today at Gurugram. During this programme Divisional Commissioner, Rajiv Ranjan and many Kashmiri Pandit community members were present. Senior Journalist, Ashok Ogra, Pankaj Dhar, Dr.Anish Dhar, Sanjeev, Dr. Rajender K.Jalali, Ashok Bhan, Mithilesh Labru, Registrar Prof. R. S Rathore, Prof. Jyoti Rana, Prof. Rishipal, Prof. Ashish Srivastava, Prof. Ranjit Singh, Prof. Nirmal Singh, Prof. Suresh Kumar, Dr. Jaipal, Praveen Kumar, Mr Prashant were present.
After the book release, Chief Minister, Haryana, Manohar Lal said that the book “Kathasatisagar” written by Raj Nehru and Dr. C. K Gariali is a very commendable piece of writing that will reconnect youth with their culture and heritage. This book is well written about re-igniting the folklore of Kashmir and reminding everyone including the new generation about Kashmir’s glorious past and its fundamental unity with India.
CM hailed the contribution of Kashmiri Pandits in the field of administration, philosophy, medicine, art and spirituality. He spoke about the Rishi Kashyap and why Kashmir is called Kashmir because of Rishi Kashyap.
The author of the book, Raj Nehru, complimented CM Manohar Lal, for taking time for launching this book and also interacting with the Kashmiri Pandit community. He said that the sole purpose of writing this book is to revive the values of Kashmir which is considered as the cradle of civilization. The objective of the book is to tell the world about the land of Kashmir, which has been a major contributor to the widespread development of Indian culture across the globe. This book is a collection of inspiring cultural folktales from Kashmir, he added.
